I have never dealt with a travel agent before but now I am a true believer of MEI and Mouse Fan Travel. The day Disney announced the buy 4 nights get 3 free deal I received an e-mail from Stephanie telling me about it and saying if it benefits my reservation she would contact me. Sure enough, a couple of days later a got a call. She had worked up some new packages and was able to save us some money.

There was two caveats to this, we had to change resorts and make two different reservations. Instead of staying in one suite at the All-Star Music resort we had to get two rooms at the All-Star Sports resort. I didn’t mind this at all because Stephanie was looking at getting us adjoining rooms.

My parents reservation was pretty straight forward. Since they have not purchased their tickets in advance they just got the room and a 7 day ticket with the park hopper option. My reservation was a bit different. Since I have an annual pass and I got my kids tickets at last years prices we had to make my room reservation with one park hopper ticket so that it qualified as a package.

Now the best part. Between the two reservations we saved approximately $430. Most of that savings was on my parents reservation since they had the more normal package but I won’t hold that against them.
